Avoiding Plagiarism & Halloween Challenge Poem

Avoiding Plagiarism

Plagiarism is a common mistake made by writer of all types, experienced or non-experienced. In the world of writing, plagiarism  is considered a serious crime. Plagiarism is basically claiming credit for somebody else’s work. To avoid plagiarism, you should cite your sources. That can be as simple as just pasting the URL link to the website from which you got your image for. If you are using the words from somebody’s book or song, you can write the author/artist’s name yo confirm that the following is not your work, but somebody else’s. Avoiding plagiarism is easy, as long as you take the time to do it right!

A Black Cat Hisses…

Far away, in the night, so deep and dark!

A mysterious cat hisses, and pounces

On a round glowing pumpkin

Orange and  flickering,  like a fire in fright!

Somewhere, a black cat hisses,

With it’s gleaming green eyes –

So like a million emeralds, all alight

And a coat so black

Like a starless night, like a sunless morn

A black cat hisses…

Once, twice, thrice

Mourning like a ghost

whose lost its voice..!
