Paws for a Cause – Our Achievements!

In my 1st blog post about Paws for a Cause, I put out a couple of goals that we hoped to achieve. Well, I have good news – We have achieved a few of them!

  1. Holiday Wrapping Paper Sale: We have finalized our dicision and we have decided that we will have such a sale. My partner, Emma, has already started this, and we already made $30.00 out of this sale, and we’ll definitely make more out of this fundaiser. Throughout the weekend, its our goal to make posters, and to speak to neighborhood authoritives so that we can rent a place and make the sale ‘official’!
  2. We know who we’re helping! – With some help from our teacher, we now in touch with the Boone County Animal Shelter. Our goal is to email them and to get a better picture of what they need help with.

So we’ve got some things done, but we’re a bit short of some goals. We still don’t have a mentor, bu we’re determined to have that checked of in our list by end of December. We also need to arrange a drive at our school, and we need a plan to arrange an event where we’ll also ask for donations. In exchange, maybe the donators will get some activities, that holiday themed, to do!

I’m a bit disappointed by how behind we are, as we still don’t have a mentor, and we’re supposed to  that a few weeks ago, but I have faith that we’ll catch up!!!
